Terms of Service – Portuguese Lessons with Gabriel Antunes

These Terms of Service govern all Portuguese lessons and services provided by Gabriel Antunes through Portuguese-Lessons.com. By booking or participating in a lesson, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Service Overview

Portuguese lessons are offered online (via Google Meet) and in person (within Lisbon, Portugal). Services include private lessons, small group lessons, exam preparation (e.g., CIPLE), and conversation practice, among others.

2. Scheduling and Availability

Lessons are booked by mutual agreement based on the student’s availability and time zone. Gabriel reserves the right to adjust available times due to demand, holidays, or personal scheduling.

3. Lesson Duration

Each standard lesson is scheduled for 60 minutes. However, lesson start and end times may vary by a few minutes depending on logistical or technical circumstances. By booking a lesson, the student agrees to a slight variation in start/end time when needed.

4. Payments

All lessons must be paid in advance via bank transfer to the designated business account. Payment confirms and secures your booking. Invoices are available upon request.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged in full.

  • No-shows will also be considered cancellations and are non-refundable.

  • If a lesson is canceled or rescheduled by the tutor, it will be rescheduled at no extra cost.

6. Late Arrivals

If a student arrives late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time unless otherwise agreed. Extra time is not guaranteed. If the tutor is late, the time will be compensated either during the same session or by arrangement.

7. Communication

Official communication regarding bookings, payments, or scheduling should be sent to: info@portuguese-lessons.com. Informal communication may take place via WhatsApp as agreed between student and tutor.

8. Lesson Materials

All materials provided during the course of the lessons (PDFs, slides, vocabulary lists, etc.) are for personal use only and may not be redistributed or used commercially without written permission.

9. Group Lessons

If you are participating in a group lesson, it is your responsibility to be present on time. Missed group lessons will not be refunded or rescheduled individually.

10. Privacy & Data

All personal data collected during registration or communication (e.g., name, contact info, language level) will be handled in accordance with our [Privacy Policy]. No data will be sold or shared with third parties.

11. Right to Refuse Service

The tutor reserves the right to refuse service or discontinue lessons with any student due to inappropriate behavior, lack of payment, or consistent no-shows.

12. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. The latest version will always be available at www.portuguese-lessons.com.
